Coming Attractions: Summer 2009

I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel of my finals (one more week; three more papers; one last mini presentation!) and this is making me irrepressibly happy.

I'm not taking summer classes in an attempt to give myself a break and I'm hoping to focus on a couple enjoyable things--and document them more reliably in my blog. So, stay tuned for:
  • The trials and tribulations of a takeout aficionado's experience with a farm share
  • The starts and stops of finding academic purpose--developing a workable idea for my thesis
  • Training for a half-marathon, or, how much money can be spent on iTunes in an attempt to motivate myself on training runs? Also, as a corollary, how many times can I listen to "Call on Me" by Eric Prydz in two hours?
  • Baseball season--how many hot dogs can one 5'3" girl eat and will I really learn something from Sherman?
  •  And, most importantly, will any of the above actually happen when I break the seal on the LOST DVDs that I am going to pilfer from my family and start as soon as I turn in my last final on the 11th?
Here's to Summer 2009--already better than Summer 2008 and I still have about 40 pages of writing before it officially starts.

For motivation on even the most difficult runs, try podrunner, available on iTunes or podrunner.com. It's worked great for me, even on a treadmill.
...Senior Runner.

Is it the 'word' or the 'world' that's made up of two types of women?
